Stilfserjoch National Park offers a typical alpine vegetation: pastures, meadows, woods where a lot of wild animals live and a lot of beautiful flowers and plants grow. Walking on the paths in the woods which surround Livigno you can easily see a lot of animals such as red deer, chamois, ibex, roedeer, marmot, ermine, squirrel, fox, hare, badger, birds and perhaps you can even admire a wonderful eagle.
You can walk in the woods along 80km paths or you can ride a mountain bike if you like this sport. If you are a real sportsman/woman you can take part in the "Pedaleda", a very interesting event which takes place every year in July.
